Biography |
My name is Cheng You. I was born in Sichuan, China, lived and studied there until the end of high school. I then went to Nanjing University and got elected as Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholar to continue my college education at Department of Mathematics, Hong Kong Baptist University. After graduation, I came to Department of Statistics, Pennsylvania State University for my master and phd education. I worked for more than two years after I got my masters, one year and a half at a Chicago-based hedge fund and eight months at a Shanghai-based investment trust. Now, I am working on my PhD thesis while doing some consulting work.
